Marvin grew up in a town in Costa Rica called Guadalupe, which is located in San Jose, the main city. When he was a kid, he realized that art was a great way to show his creativity, so he started drawing every day to improve his skills. He loves to draw cartoons and faces.
When he was 17 he registered at La Universidad de Costa Rica to study Art and few years later he started working as a Sketch Artist for El Organismo de Investigacion Judicial, which is the Costa Rican Federal Police. He drew Composite Sketches of missing people and worked as a Crime Scene Technician for about 7 years, and then he moved to the United States to improve his English skills and learn more about the American ways. Marvin thinks that art and creativity should play an important role in the process of learning and that every person should be encouraged to show his/her ideas and talents through art. When Marvin was a kid he attended Pilar Jimenez Elementary School at Guadalupe, which is one of the largest schools in that town, over there he got involved in music and sports.
He loves soccer and music. While working at the Law Enforcement he studied Criminology and Marketing, later he became a Federal Agent for the Police.
